Halloween Fun in Full Swing
Witchy Wonder Camp is bringing Halloween fun to life through a week filled with creativity, exploration, movement, and time together with friends.
We started with one of those activities children always love: making Halloween cookies. With colorful icing and plenty of creative ideas, each child had a chance to create their own spooky — or not-so-spooky — cookie. It was a fun opportunity to get creative, share ideas, and enjoy a little taste of Halloween.
Our adventures then took us to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay, where the children enjoyed a classic pumpkin patch experience surrounded by the sights, sounds, and activities of the farm. They got to interact with the farm animals, explore the farm, and take part in traditional pumpkin patch activities. Each child also picked out a little pumpkin to bring home.
For our bravest campers, the adventure went a little further. Some brave kids took on the challenge of visiting the haunted house, making for a few spooky moments, lots of excitement, and plenty of stories to share afterward.
The Halloween spirit also came alive through our Zombie Dance. The children learned silly zombie movements, danced along to Halloween music, and added their own creative moves along the way. Some danced like classic zombies, while others came up with their own hilarious interpretations.
At Witchy Wonder Camp, the fun goes beyond simply making Halloween crafts or playing themed games. Each activity gives children a chance to create, explore, move, make choices, and experience something new with their friends.
And there's still more Halloween fun ahead. Stay tuned as we continue adding to our Witchy Wonder Camp adventures throughout the week!
