A Peek into Our Weekly Math Kangaroo Prep Lessons

Math Kangaroo is an international math competition that emphasizes logical thinking, pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, and creative problem-solving—not just calculation. The goal is not the result, but the process and practice, which help students build strong reasoning skills, confidence, and a deep understanding of mathematics.

To support our students, we offer a complimentary Math Kangaroo prep class. Students are placed into small groups based on their level, so each child can learn at the right pace. During each lesson, students practice Math Kangaroo–style problems with guidance from the teacher, focusing on strategies, accuracy, and clear thinking.

The next Math Kangaroo test will take place on March 19 (3/19). Our prep class covers key topics commonly tested, including number sense, arithmetic strategies, logical reasoning, word problems, patterns, geometry and spatial reasoning, helping students feel prepared and confident on test day.

Through structured practice and discussion, students develop mathematical thinking skills and problem-solving habits that extend far beyond the competition itself.
