Asian Art Museum Exploration: Discovering Chinese Culture Through Stories

Children will be divided into three small groups and guided by museum educators as they explore galleries with different themes. Through vivid and engaging Chinese stories, students will discover the cultural meaning behind the artworks and artifacts, while participating in interactive, art-inspired creative activities woven into the storytelling experience.

Scouting America Signature 3-Day Outdoor Camp

  • Day & Time: Monday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Campers will return to BHCS at 1:00 PM and continue afternoon activities)

  • Pick-up: 650 Shell Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404 (BHCS Campus)

Join us for an exciting 3-day camp experience that blends outdoor adventure, hands-on creativity, and skill-building fun! As a special bonus, enrollment includes a FREE Annual Scouting America Membership (a $170 value), giving families access to year-round scouting opportunities and events.

Each day, campers will build focus and confidence through daily archery, learning safe fundamentals while developing coordination and concentration. Our guided nature hikes and outdoor learning sessions encourage curiosity and environmental awareness through age-appropriate exploration. Campers will also dive into one of scouting's most beloved traditions—the Pinewood Derby—where they'll design, build, decorate, and race their very own custom car in a fun and friendly competition.

This camp is designed to inspire independence, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors—making it a memorable experience both on and off the trail.

Blessed Qingming

  • Dates: Apr 2 - Apr 3, 2026
  • Day & Time: Friday - Monday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Pick-up / Drop-off Location: 650 Shell Blvd, Foster City, CA 94404

Children will journey through stories and images to discover the origins and customs of Qingming, learning the deeper meanings behind spring outings, willow planting, and ancestral remembrance. They will experience the graceful art of brush calligraphy by writing Qingming poems, and bring spring to life by creating their own hand-painted kites.

Through traditional arts and the imagery of spring, children will feel the gentle beauty of the season and the quiet elegance of this timeless festival.

Three Kingdoms Storyland

Following our winter camp, we are excited to bring back the much-loved Three Kingdoms–themed camp for children. In this one-day program, students will continue their journey into the vivid world of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, exploring classic stories while learning about well-known heroes and the historical background behind them.

Inspired by the stories, we have designed a variety of hands-on crafts and engaging games to help children deepen their understanding through active participation. The stories of the Three Kingdoms are truly endless—each new exploration reveals something fresh and exciting.
